Parent’s have many opportunities to be part of their child’s education here at Chavez by coming to things like:

• Back-to-School Night 9/5/2025
• Culture Fest Spring 2026
• Parent –Teacher conferences 9/9/25, 11/18/25,2/3/26, 4/21/26
• SST’s, / IEP’s
• School Site Council (SSC) 1x a month
• English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) 1x a month
• Parent Coffee Hour 1x a month

Just to name a few…

There are also opportunites at the district level, such as the various Parent Commitee’s (AAB PAC, Latino PAC, General PAC and Migrant PAC) DELAC and LCAP Process.

As a Community School, we are committed to building meaningful partnerships with families and community organizations to support the whole child. Our Parent & Community Engagement page provides access to resources, workshops, events, and opportunities designed to strengthen relationships, remove barriers, and promote student success.
